The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
